Decking Sizes & Pricing

We offer Black Locust decking in both 5/4 and 8/4 thicknesses with random lengths as standard. For projects that require specific board runs, we also produce cut-to-length orders in 6', 8', 10', and 12' options. All decking comes milled with an eased edge profile for a smooth, finished look and comfortable foot feel.

Select & Better Mix Grade‍

Our Select & Better Mix grade is offered as a practical alternative to our premium-grade Black Locust. This secondary grade provides excellent value for projects that still demand quality but are more flexible when it comes to appearance.

Boards in this mix feature one cleaner face with minimal knots and character—comparable to Select grade—while the reverse face meets the standards of a #1 Common grade. You can expect a structurally sound product with solid performance, some natural variation, and more visible character on the non-show face.

This grade is ideal for applications where one face will be visible and the back will be hidden or less critical. It’s a popular choice for decking, siding, fencing, and other exterior uses where durability and sustainability are key—but where a fully premium aesthetic isn't required throughout.
