The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum

"In 10 years we're not going to talk about sustainability anymore, because it's going to be built into the core process of architecture."

Robert A.M. Stern

The George W. Bush Presidential Center completed in April of 2013 and located on the Dallas campus of Southern Methodist University. The center designed by world-renowned architect Robert A. M. Stern, while landscape architect, Michael Van Valkenburgh, conceived its handsome grounds.

In designing the Center, the requirement was to ensure that it fit in with the SMU campus’s neoclassicism while respecting the Bushes’ mandates that the building be progressive and environmentally responsible. Our company participated in the project by providing organic Black Locust for the nature Boardwalk, an integral design featuring Texas native grasses and plants.

The center achieved LEED® Platinum certification, the highest designation for sustainable green architecture.
