Perched above the Missisquoi River Valley with sweeping views of Vermont's Green Mountains, Maison Alice is a Scandinavian-inspired retreat designed for deep stillness and long seasons. The owners chose Black Locust for its entire outdoor living envelope betting that its legendary natural durability would hold its own against the hard freeze-thaw cycles and wet springs of Northern Vermont. They were right.
