Located in Queens, New York, this project features shade screens and boardwalks provided by Black Locust Lumber, enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Stonewall Construction, supported by the NYC Department of Design & Construction, ensured the seamless construction of the center, which achieved LEED Platinum certification and garnered several prestigious awards. Recognitions include the AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE) Top Green Projects in 2008 and the AIA New York Sustainable Design/Cultural Honor Award in Building Types Awards.
