Seating
Black Locust wood makes an excellent seating material. It requires very little if any maintenance and lasts for 50+ years without any decay. Black Locust wood will outlast pressure treated lumber with none of the harmful chemicals used with pressure treated lumber. It will last longer than the tropical hardwoods without the environmental destruction and with a fraction of the carbon footprint necessary to turn it into a finished wood product.

Black Locust Bench
This bench was made for the New York City Parks Department. They are looking for a new type of bench that will be very durable and rot resistant.

Black Locust Seating
This bench we built for a New Jersey school shows how we work with a wide variety of dimensions of Black Locust wood.

Black Locust Built-in Benches
These built-in benches help contain planting beds at the Bronxscape in New York. We milled the wood to architectural specifications and the students at Parsons School Of Design built and installed them.
